Beverley Shelton Golden attended a Flare Summer Workshop in the late 1980s and “was hooked on journalism after that.” Now, the Associate Vice President of Strategic Communications & Media Relations at the University of Texas at Tyler, she is helping others find their path and tell their stories, just as she learned to do at KC.
The Kilgore College Foundation is a 501(C)(3) support organization dedicated to providing financial support for the programs, activities, services, scholarships, and capital improvement initiatives of Kilgore College. Throughout the years, the Foundation has continued to expand its donor base, philanthropic activity, and assets to grow the scholarship endowments designated for the success of Kilgore College’s students and programs. It is governed by an independent volunteer board of directors.
